1. What is included in the rates?
The standard rates at Upni Duniya include the use of all 8 suites, sleeping up to 16 persons.
Our special 4 suite package includes the use of or 4 of the suites, sleeping up to 8 people.
The Master Villa, which is an additional US$1,000 per night, sleeps 2 persons.
All facilities within Upni Duniya are at the disposal of every guest. There are 14 staff that cater to the needs of all of our guests including two gourmet chefs who can prepare any dishes required, the purchase of food and beverages are additional.
Also included is round-trip airport transfer, daily full buffet breakfast, free WIFI and a welcome reception.
2. Is there a Gym?
Yes, we have a well equipped fitness room featuring a Fitness Plus running machine, cycling machine, cross trainer, a multi gym and free weights. We can arrange a private instructor or transportation to a larger facility if you so require.
3. What kind of food/cuisine do you offer?
Our two chefs have vast experience working in 5 star hotels producing all types of international cuisine, so there is very little we cannot offer. We also have a completely separate vegetarian kitchen area free from meat contamination.
4. How many staff do you have?
There is a total of 14 onsite staff to cater to your every need.
5. Do you have Internet/Wi-Fi?
The entire villa complex has a comprehensive network of WIFI routers, so you will never be without a connection. This service is included in the rates.
6. What kind of Audio/Entertainment systems do you have?
Each suite features state-of-the-art audio visual equipment including Sony Bravia LCD TVs, Denon audio equipment, iPod connectivity and a comprehensive list of satellite TV channels to select from. There is also a 60” flat screen TV with full connectivity available in the main living area which is perfect for movie nights or watching sports events.
7. What is Upni Duniya’s child policy?
Children are welcome at Upni Duniya, but must be supervised by adults at all times due to the architectural details of the villa. If a child is under 10 they are permitted to share a suite with their parents at no additional charge.
8. Do you provide baby cots?
Yes, we can provide baby cots at no additional charge.
9. Can you put an extra bed or mattress in the rooms?
We only allow small children’s mattresses and baby cots to be added to suites if a child is under 10 years of age.
10. How many persons are allowed to stay in each room?
We only allow 2 people per villa, with the exception of children under 10 years. We have a selection of double and twin suites.
11. Do you have a Vegetarian/Indian Kitchen?
Yes, we have a completely separate vegetarian kitchen, free from any form of meat contamination.
12. Can you provide Halal cuisine?
Yes, we can provide completely Halal cuisine options.
13. Do you accept Credit Card for payments/deposits?
Yes, we accept most major credit cards. There is an additional fee of 3% for Visa or Master Cards and 4% for American Express.
14. Do you arrange site-seeing tours around the island?
Yes, we can arrange site-seeing tours of the island as well as boat trips to the surrounding islands.
15. What kind of water sports can you arrange?
We can arrange a variety of water sports including: jet skis, banana boats, water skiing, kayaking, sunset cruises and island hopping boat trips.
16. What can we do on the island?
There are many things to do on Koh Samui, we can arrange anything for you with prior notice, these are some popular activities: snorkeling, elephant trekking, spa treatments, wellness and anti-aging treatments, yoga, Thai massage etc.
17. What other sporting/relaxing activities can you do on the island?
We can arrange personal Yoga and Muay Thai Boxing courses.
18. Can we book individual rooms?
No, Upni Duniya is only available to rent as a whole. This ensure the privacy of our guests and the personalized service we pride ourselves on.
19. How far is Upni Duniya from airport?
We are located just a 10 minute drive from Samui International Airport on Bophut beach.
20. Does Upni Duniya have an onsite Resident Manager?
Yes, we have an onsite Resident Manager. We also have staff available 24 hours a day.
